K.F. Coffman is a 54 year old husband, father of 3 and grandfather of 6 who found himself disabled and unable to work following a back injury. With nothing but time on his hands and a love of writing, he decided to take an English Comp teachers advice, write.
Until now the only writing he had done was business proposals, correspondence and poetry for his family. His family is the center-point of his life and his staunchest supporters and fans.
In July of 2001, K.F. and his wife Vicki took a weekend trip to Winterset, Iowa. It was the first trip they had ever taken by themselves, partly to celebrate his birthday and partly to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary which they celebrated in June by renewing their vows.
Upon arriving in Madison County, they both soon discovered something strange and wonderful. The unexplainable magic and enchantment of Madison County soon overtook them and the idea for "Bridges Revisited" was born.
His wife Vicki, the center of his entire being was the inspiration for a story that will take you back to those beloved bridges and Madison County. When he arrived home he sat down at his computer and "Bridges Revisited" simply poured out of him.
He admits it took approximately 10 to 15 hours to write this amazing story and only penned one draft. The book is also sold at several locations in and around Winterset, Iowa, "the people of Madison County opened their hearts, their minds and their storefronts to me and my book, it has been remarkable" he admits. "I hope everyone enjoys reading it as much as I loved writing it" the author says.

Hello Kelly. Thanks for the connection request. After reading your profile I am honored to be a friend. You're the same age of my beloved husband. He also is a writer, although he hasn't published one yet. He's a phenominal writer to say the least. He's in the process of writing a novel, a historical fiction about a vampire. I never cared for vampire books or science fiction, but he surprised me... He also is disabled and hasn't been able to work since the latter part of 1992, as he was stricken with crippling arthritis. He now has been diagnosed with two more. He's quite the trooper, as he doesn't let it get him down!
